Terms and conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of Ventoview – the website with the editor, the desktop app and the modules – offered by [Vor- und Nachname], [Straße und Hausnummer], [PLZ und Ort] (“we”).

2. Purchase via Paddle

The purchase itself (conclusion of contract, payment, invoice, withdrawal) is governed by the Paddle buyer terms. The use of Ventoview is governed by these terms.

3. Account

The account is free. You sign in with Twitch or Google. An account is intended for one person. Keep access to your Twitch or Google account protected.

4. Services

• Free modules (currently Basic) can be used with any account.
• Individual paid modules are a one-time purchase. You may use them permanently, including updates to that module, as long as we offer the module.
• Ventoview Pro is a subscription. While it runs, all paid modules are unlocked, including new ones.

The app regularly needs an internet connection for the unlock. Without a connection it keeps running for up to seven days.

5. Subscription term and cancellation

Pro runs for one month or one year, depending on your choice, and renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time to the end of the current period: via “Cancel contracts here”, on the account page or by email. Everything stays unlocked until the end of the paid period. After that the paid modules are locked. Individually purchased modules and your designs remain.

6. Promo codes

A promo code unlocks modules or Ventoview Pro for free for the stated period. Each code can only be redeemed once per account and has no cash value: it is not paid out, not offset against purchases and may not be sold. Codes may be limited in time or number and can be ended at any time; unlocks already redeemed are not affected, except in case of abuse (e.g. bought, resold or automatically guessed codes). Pro from a code is not a subscription – it ends automatically without anything being charged.

7. Right of use

You receive a simple, non-transferable right to use Ventoview and the unlocked modules for your own streams and content, also commercially. It is not permitted to pass on or sell unlocks, to circumvent the license check or to redistribute modules or templates as your own product.

8. Third-party services

Some modules use data from third parties, for example from the League client of Riot Games or from Twitch. If a provider changes its interfaces, a module may temporarily not work or only work to a limited extent. We adapt the modules as quickly as possible. Ventoview is not affiliated with these providers.

9. Availability

We strive for trouble-free operation but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website. Where possible we announce maintenance in advance.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the Product Liability Act. In the case of slight negligence we are only liable for breach of an essential contractual obligation whose fulfillment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose compliance you may regularly rely. In this case liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typically occurring.

11. Changes

We may change these terms with effect for the future if there is an objective reason, such as new features or changed laws. We will inform you of changes by email at least four weeks in advance. If you do not object within this period, the new terms apply. We point out this consequence in the notice. If you object, both sides can cancel the subscription to the end of the current period.

12. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you live remain unaffected.
