Manual for the Stream-Chat module
This module is coming soon.
Your Twitch chat in the overlay: chat box with emotes and badges, plus triggers – if several people write “noob” or someone writes “!hype”, an animation like confetti made of the word starts.
Getting started
- Activate the module (app or Home → Modules).
- In the app click “Set up overlay” on the module – or Open editor.
- Choose a template, adjust it, save it and paste the overlay link into your streaming software.
Settings
In the app click ⚙ on the module – or in the editor under “Settings”.
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Channel | Empty = your Twitch channel from the app (Settings → Twitch). |
| Hide (bots) | Messages from these names appear nowhere and don't count for triggers – one name per line. |
| Blocked characters | If a word starts with one of these characters (e.g. !rank or @name), the message doesn't appear in the overlay. Command triggers still work. Several characters just in a row, e.g. !@. Empty = block nothing. |
| Hide messages from the Ventoview chat bot | On: they don't appear in the overlay. Off: they appear with “Ventoview” as sender and a BOT badge. They never fire triggers. |
