Screens

What for?

With Screens you show your designs right on your PC – not in the stream but on the desktop: as a wallpaper behind the desktop icons or as a display above all windows. Every screen gets its own design in its resolution. Clicks always go through, so you keep working as usual.

How it works

1. Open the Screens tab on the left. It lists all screens of your PC with name, resolution and scaling.
2. Click a screen. Canvas to … gives your design exactly its resolution, New creates a design in that size right away.
3. Build a design or load a template. Templates and designs of other modules can be embedded with the “Template” layer – e.g. your rank or the current song.
4. Show at the top right: choose the screen and the mode. The design is saved first.

As background or above everything

• As background: sits behind the desktop icons like a background picture.
• Above everything: sits above all windows, good for a clock or displays at the edge of the screen. Mouse clicks go through.

Good to know

• Several designs on one screen: every “Show” puts the design on top of the stack – what is higher covers what lies below. Change the order with the arrows in the Screens tab; “Above everything” always lies in front of “As background”.
• The app remembers what runs where and shows it again after a restart – even when a screen is unplugged and plugged in again.
• Sound stays off on the desktop; sounds only play in your stream.
• Turning off: in the Screens tab with the × next to a design or with Turn everything off on the screen. In an emergency, use the Ventoview icon at the bottom right of the taskbar: Turn off screen displays.
• If the design has a different size than the screen, it is fitted in.
