Interaction

Manual for the Interaction module

This module is coming soon.

Your chat plays along: polls, giveaways, guessing games, quiz, wheel of fortune, hype meter, fast typing, counter, player queue, questions, ratings, estimates, bets with points, tug of war, boss fight, emote combos and hot potato – plus a leaderboard. Ready as the “Interaction” element to drop in, or build your own. Start by button, shortcut, channel points, automatically or as a mod in chat – on Twitch, YouTube and Kick.

Paid module – individually in the shop or with Ventoview ProVersion 1.3.0

What for?

With Interaction your chat plays along: polls, giveaways, quizzes, a wheel of fortune, boss fights and much more. Everything runs in the app, reads the chat and shows the result live in the overlay. If you like, the module announces results in chat – with your Twitch account and “(Ventoview)” in front.

How it works

  1. In the module’s editor, pick Interaction on the left under the layers and choose a kind – or load a template.
  2. On the right under Interaction you switch the kind; under “<kind>: Settings” you find everything that belongs to the game (questions, fields, commands, shortcuts …) and above it the buttons to start and test.
  3. Under Look and Texts you adjust colors, font and every text – texts may contain variables.

The game settings apply to all overlays. You’ll also find them in the app – collapsed per game.

Starting and controlling

  • Buttons in the element (and under “Quick tests”) – they really trigger, in your streaming software too.
  • Chat commands for mods, e.g. “!poll Question | A | B”, “!trivia”, “!wheel”. Under “Who may control games” you can allow VIPs too. The English commands always work.
  • Shortcuts (Shortcuts module): enter one shortcut per game. One press starts, the next ends, draws or reveals.
  • Channel points (Alerts module): the wheel, boss hits and counters can be triggered by a reward. If the wheel is already spinning, further spins come afterwards.
  • Automatically: quiz, fast typing, guessing game and rating can start by themselves every few minutes.

The games

  • Poll: chat votes with 1, 2, 3 … – with live bars.
  • Giveaway: join with “!join”, subscribers only if you like; you can draw as often as you want.
  • Guessing game: a number (with “higher/lower”) or a word letter by letter.
  • Quiz: questions with A–D, time left and reveal; right answers earn points.
  • Wheel of fortune: weighted fields, spins by button, command, shortcut or channel points.
  • Hype meter: fills up with messages, bits, subs and raids – level by level.
  • Fast typing: a word is shown on screen, whoever types it correctly first wins.
  • Counter: e.g. deaths – “!death” +1, “!death -” −1, “!death 12” sets. Survives a restart.
  • Queue: viewers join with “!play”, “Next” brings the next ones (subscribers first if you like).
  • Questions: “!ask …” collects questions, you show them one after another.
  • Rating: chat rates from 1 to 10 (or 1 to 5 with stars).
  • Estimate: everyone guesses a number, you reveal the right one – the closest wins.
  • Bet: chat bets points on the outcome (“!bet 1 50”), the pot goes to those who were right.
  • Tug of war: two teams, every message with 1 or 2 pulls.
  • Boss fight: “!attack”, bits, subs, raids and channel points do damage; then the next boss comes.
  • Emote combo: counts when many people type the same emote in a row – with a record.
  • Hot potato: a bomb travels through chat with “!pass @name” – whoever has it when it goes off loses points.
  • Leaderboard: the points from quiz, guessing, fast typing, estimate, bet and boss. With “!points” everyone sees their own score.

Good to know

  • Without a game: “Don’t show” hides the element in the overlay while nothing is running. Show result sets how long the result stays afterwards.
  • Every counter is a variable with its name, e.g. {counter_deaths} – also for your own texts and conditions.
  • Replies to single viewers (e.g. place in the queue, points) come at most every 30 seconds per person.
  • If you want to build everything yourself, take one of the templates made of normal layers (poll, giveaway, guessing game) – all values are on the left under “Variables”.

Getting started

  1. Activate the module (app or Home → Modules).
  2. In the app click “Set up overlay” on the module – or Open editor.
  3. Choose a template, adjust it, save it and paste the overlay link into your streaming software.

Settings

In the app click ⚙ on the module – or in the editor under “Settings”.
